Collaboration Consulting Inc. is proud to announce the SharePoint Summit 2010. Scheduled for April 12-14, 2010 in Montreal, the Summit will be bringing together leaders from the world of SharePoint. The purpose, to provide a world-class SharePoint conference event, to create a place for all attendees to network, exchange ideas, and evolve with the SharePoint community.
Collaboration Consulting Inc. will be co-presenting a case study with Mirella Chiodo, Informatics Coordinator for the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Alberta, on the newly launched electronic Competency Based Achievement System (eCBAS), a SharePoint 2007 Process Portal application.
If you are curious about the collaborative potential of SharePoint, a seasoned veteran of the technology, or planning an upgrade to the anticipated launch of Microsoft SharePoint 2010, I would like to stress the value of this gathering. In my role as Summit Co-Chair (along with Danny Boulanger) I know from feedback in the past what attendees took from the 2009 Summit, and what they were looking for in 2010. The most significant change from 2009 was the formation of a community based board of directors to prepare for the 2010 Summit. This gathering of interested SharePoint experts have defined the logistics, scheduling, structure and content of the Summit. The idea being - collaboration in the wider community is a great way to organize around a collaborative technology such as SharePoint. This is conference planning of the future, driven by a volunteer community today!
