I was fortunate enough to attend the SharePoint Summit in 2008 and had the opportunity to see lots of intriguing ideas as well as meet with some great thinkers in the world of collaboration.  And then in August 2008 Danny Boulanger asked me if I would work with him as Co-Chair for the 2009 summit.  Accepting that offer was a great decision, and it has been a pleasure working with him and the summit team.

With only 2 days to go I'm making my final preparations, not only for my own contributions at the Summit, but also for the roving blogging I plan on.  Not everyone is able to attend these kind of conferences for various reasons.  It struck me that this blog would be a great place to share ideas, solutions and technologies that inspire and intrigue me.

That said a blog or discussion board is only as effective as the people who contribute.  I'm hoping that by planting this seed that others will come and build on this beginning.  Feel free to comment and if you really get inspired head over to the discussion board and start a thread of your own.  The only requirement is a brief registration process (at the top-left of our web-site).
